Life Education wants young people to have Money Mojo!
SMART$ is a theatre-in-education interactive performance designed to provoke thinking and conversation around every day financial decisions and opportunities impacting young people. Launching in 2020, the SMART$ programme will be delivered nationwide with a tour operating from May to the end of September, reaching 10,000 students. |
How smart$ is delivered
SMART$ has been created specifically for New Zealand young people and the financial challenges they face. It is delivered by Life Education Trust to students at a Year 10 level in a school setting.
Smart$ is a 50 minute interactive performance following the decisions and behaviour of characters focusing on traditional needs versus wants and opportunity costs covering; saving vs deferred payment schemes, credit cards and Kiwi Saver.
To extend learning after the session, Life Education have partnered with Banqer High, New Zealand's leading online teacher and student resource to provide an online learning experience in the school classroom.
